Wei is a core developer working at Parity Technologies. He wrote a piece on the best practice for running Polkadot/Kusama validators. Given the recent slashing incidence of AllNodes and the large-scale downtime of Zug Capital, such information is especially valuable.

I initially hesitated to propose a tip, since Wei is a dev for Parity. However, I decided to do it anyway. For one thing, Wei wrote this article in his personal capacity and the view expressed in the article does not represent the official stance of Parity. Moreover, we should especially encourage Parity/Web3 people to produce contents for the community, since they have deep knowledge in the system.

The piece is here: [https://that.world/~wei/polkadot/validate/#best-practicesRecently](https://that.world/~wei/polkadot/validate/#best-practicesRecently)
