In july 2022 STAKEWORLD started a paritydb snapshot service to provide an extra service to the kusama/polkadot community. Originally it was only a snapshot service, later an easy polkadot node install script and snapshot restore script were added, alongside a database size tracker on the website.

STAKEWORLD is looking to cover costs for snapshot/install service setup and maintenance (Q3 2022). I have decided to open a tip for this due to the size of the value of the allocation and to ease the work of Council: if councillors/community prefer this to go through a treausury proposal let us know.
