***SUMMARY***

DeStore aims to revolutionise the e-commerce industry by enabling businesses to tokenize real-world assets and create multi-resource Digital Twins that have utility in both In Real Life (IRL), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality, (AR) environments. Our core objective is to bridge the gap between traditional e-commerce and the new age of blockchain-based Digital Twins, unlocking new possibilities for growth and expansion.

We are not just an e-commerce platform; we are a dedicated phygital asset marketplace that is paving the way for the future of e-commerce, where the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds are erased, and anything is possible. Our business maintains the core principles of decentralization, security, and transparency; With a vision of enabling brands to be self-sovereign and trade outside the traditional banking sector.

In preparation for the Kusama Hoodie Trial, which was approved in our first proposal to the Kusama Council and Treasury [(Motion 562)](https://kusama.polkassembly.io/motion/562), we have been gaining valuable insights and have prepared ourselves to move forward with dropshipping trials. This trial helped us collect data on how to build out a scalable solution for the Polkadot ecosystem, it has given us the ability to establish numerous partnerships, and has allowed us to implement significant changes to our platform in order to enhance its performance and functionality. However, we faced multiple challenges during the trial and ran out of time and funds, as our initial proposal was for a period of 3 to 6 months.

Thus, we are proposing some changes to our previous proposal, and presenting a new proposal to achieve our vision. With this new proposal, we are pursuing an additional 6 months and funding of $ 150,396 USD from the Kusama treasury. This budget will enable us to continue developing and refining the platform, to research logic around physical products with a Digital Twin and conduct further community trials with products or merchandise supplied or donated by the brands.

**With this proposal accepted, we plan to achieve:**

1. Deployment on 4 Substrate based chains.
2. Logistical, technical, and marketing support for 4 chains.
3. Support up to 15 SMEs/DAOs, to the ability to sell and distribute phygital products on the Parachains that they choose.
4. Release the XR Kusama hoodie wearable instead of the initial regular hoodie.
Create DeStore Network API for Wallets, Centralised and Decentralised exchanges to connect to, and sell products on each connected chain.

This new proposal represents a significant step towards creating a decentralised app store and payment system that will revolutionise the way we interact with physical products.

Dear Kusama council and treasury,

DeStore Network has been working diligently on what was proposed and approved in [Motion 562](https://kusama.polkassembly.io/motion/562) with the original budget, and we are very excited to continue building.

As you may be aware, we have recently implemented the Ship heroes warehouse management system and are currently testing the API plug-in, which has taken 6 months. In this time we have been working on incorporating extended reality (XR) tooling and resources to brands in the polkadot ecosystem; technologies that go past the original scope of the first proposal. Given that we have an approved hoodie design from the Web 3 foundation, improved tooling and a better final product it makes more sense to release a better product for the trial, one that screams web 3.0.

With the delays and additional features, we see the need for additional funding and time, to be able to complete the project and reach the standards we believe should be set for Web3 products.

The original funds allocated by the Kusama Council for Merchandise manufacturing and shipping from Motion 562 are still within our possession and ready to be used once we get the final QA /QC approval from the brand holder (Web 3 Foundation). The initial allocation for wages has been used as our sole form of income since the funding was granted and has been exhausted, but we still remain committed to the cause.

We are forging into reality how Polkadot DAOs can distribute phygital merchandise with a Digital Twin minted on their local chain infused with extended reality functionality providing improved utility and will attract newcomers to the ecosystem for the swag alone. Council
